Centennial Trail. The North Idaho Centennial Trail is 23 miles long, extending from the Idaho/Washington state line to Higgins Point, 6 miles east of Coeur d’Alene at the end of Coeur d’Alene Lake Drive. The Centennial Trail between Wade Road and Hilltop Road had to close for several weeks during a portion of the construction in summer 2020 when 14 to 22-foot deep excavations (openings in the trail) were scheduled.
